Decanter:
Ripe fruit salad, herbal, almond and nectarine scents. Abundantly creamy on the palate with a beautifully tangy finish; nicely persistent on the finish.

"Our salvation in warm years like 2019 is the acidity of the Salnés Valley," says Cayetano Otero of this nicely mature 2019 Albariño. Aged for a year on lees, six months of which were with bâtonnage, it's a bold, structured, salty, bone-dry white with oyster shell, almond paste and citrus peel flavours and a persistent finish. 2023-27
