This Verdejo is a lovely combination of part lees ageing (7 months), part aging in 500L French oak barrels for 5 months. Resulting woody spice and balsamic notes combine with a chalky texture and underlying salinity from the particularly sandy, lime-clay soils of a 3ha parcel in La Seca. It is a rich and concentrated wine with a lift on the finish from typical varietal bitterness. 2024-27.
