Profumo
Espressivo, potente e corposo. Regala aromi di ciliegie, ribes e prugne nere che lasciano spazio a note minerali, di mirtilli, tabacco e spezie.
Bocca
Saporito, succoso, potente e corposo. Ha una buona struttura ma con tannini setosi. L'ottima acidità conferisce equilibrio all'insieme.

I vigneti si trovano sulle colline di Milon, proprio a ridosso dell'altopiano di Carruades de Lafite.

Grossa ghiaia mescolata a sabbia eolica su un sottosuolo calcareo di origine terziaria.

Si è svolta dal 4 al 22 settembre.
Vinificazione
Fermentazione in depositi di acciaio inox.
Invecchiamento
Affinamento in botti di rovere francese (40% nuove) e per il 15% in anfore di terracotta.

Dark ruby garnet, violet reflections, delicate edge brightening. Fine dark forest berry fruit, nuances of blackberries and cherries, delicate precious wood spice, underlaid with mandarin zest, a hint of nougat in the background. Juicy, elegant, hearty cherries, ripe, integrated tannins, mineral and lemony, some currant in the aftertaste, shows length and maturity potential.

A juicy and savory red with blackberry, chocolate, dried meat and earth aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied with plenty of flavor and a forest floor aftertaste. Ripe tannins. A blend of 73% cabernet sauvignon and 27% merlot.

A blend of 73% Cabernet Sauvignon and 27% Merlot, the 2025 Duhart-Milon is a lovely classic in the making, offering up notes of wild blueberries, cassis, rose petals and orange zest, followed by a medium- to full-bodied, pure and polished palate that's lively, harmonious and suave. It checks in at a modest 12.5% alcohol.

Decanter:

Fragrant blackcurrants and dried herbs on the nose. Really succulent and grippy straight away, immediately so charming and soft, almost creamy with a touch of powdery tannins – but such depth and concentration of fruit – ripe but still cool, you get flesh but freshness too. Such great construction – nothing over the top. There’s fleshy tannins, round mouthfeel but such elegance and refinement with the vein of bright, tangy, driving acidity that just carries the overall expression. So long. Brilliant. 13% press wine.
