The Wine Advocate:
The 2009 Antonino Izquierdo is a special barrel selection that yielded just 32 barrels in 2009. It is very delineated on the nose: distant at first but unfurling to offer blackberry, raspberry, vanilla and light cassis aromas that remain well behaved. The palate is medium-bodied with a gentle but insistent grip that coats the mouth. There are layers of ripe raspberry fruit laced with white pepper, lemon peel and a touch of thyme. There is great tension and penetration the finish, but it needs 3-4 years in bottle to really blossom, which I am sure it will. Drink 2015-2025+. - Neil Martin.

Tomado por segunda vez, la anterior en el 2018. Excelente
Rojo picota intenso. Impresionantes aromas de frutas negras y rojas muy maduras, balsámico. Aterciopelado, taninos muy maduros, complejo.
Muy aromático, suave, poco tánico. Pasa muy bien, buen Ribera
