Il Carpano Vermouth Punt e Mes fa parte della gamma di vermouth del famoso marchio italiano nato nel 1786 grazie al genio di Antonio Benedetto Carpano, un toroisano che ha inventato questa bevanda nella versione moderna che conosciamo oggi. In particolare, questo Punt e Mes nasce dalla macerazione di una base di vino secco con circa 15 botaniche e piante aromatiche diverse. Premiato in diversi concorsi internazionali, nel 2020 è stato eletto miglior vermouth semidolce al mondo ai World Vermouth Awards.

Rich on the nose with notes of currant, liquorice and clove, green herbs and some orange zest. Mouth-filling sweetness with a vinous character on the palate. Dark berries, tannins, some orange and nutty notes in good balance. It becomes more bitter towards the finish, with the bitterness of the herbs becoming more pronounced on the aftertaste.
This aroma of this sweet vermouth suggests dark berries and savory spices. The first sip is sweet, rich and plummy, with flickers of juicy orange. The long finish is shored up with baking spice and dried thyme. Recommended for cocktails.
