This is exceptional. Blackcurrants and spices with medium to full body, firm and silky tannins and a long and flavorful finish. 66 per cent cabernet sauvignon, the rest merlot with a touch of cabernet franc.

Deep purple/plum-colored, the 2018 Château De Ricaud offers a solid, classic bouquet of blackcurrants, tobacco, chocolate, and cedar. It's medium-bodied, has a rounded, impressively balanced texture, ripe tannins, and a great finish. This straight-up charming 2018 will keep for 7-8 years.
