Se il vigneto di Rausch è il fiore all’occhiello della Saar, questo Kabinett ne è l’espressione più pura e vivace. Con una gradazione alcolica sorprendentemente bassa (8%) e un equilibrio magistrale tra zucchero residuo e acidità frizzante, questo Riesling è davvero accattivante. Al naso sprigiona un profumo inebriante di frutti tropicali, spezie e l'inconfondibile carattere dell'argilla. In bocca è rotondo, delicato e quasi cremoso, ma con una tensione minerale che lo mantiene verticale ed eterno. Un bianco che delizia oggi e che promette una prodigiosa capacità di invecchiamento.

A great riesling kabinett with terrific vitality and extremely elegant acidity that give this a fantastic balance and accentuate the purity. Glides over the finish dispensing chamomile, mint and lemon balm aromas like a shower of rain. A delicate wine with great aging potential. Drink or hold.
The 2023 Rausch Kabinett is very precise and clear on the well-defined, precise and filigreed nose that intermingles very fine slate and bright fruit aromas. Juicy and savory on the palate, this is an intense and complex, gorgeously saline and filigreed Kabinett with black tea with milk and brown rock sugar aromas. It is weightless yet intense and irresistible. 8% stated alcohol and just below 50 grams per liter of residual sugar. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in August 2024 from AP 4 24.
