Il Trans Douro Express Cima Corgo è un rosso che cattura l'essenza della Cima Corgo, dove le viti crescono su terreni scistosi baciati dal sole del Douro. Prodotto con vitigni autoctoni e fermentato naturalmente in vasche di cemento, sprigiona aromi di frutti rossi, fiori e un leggero sentore minerale. The Trans-Douro-Express range is meant to showcase the character of the three subzones and consists of three unoaked reds—one from each zone—with medium extraction and ripeness. The 2022 Trans-Douro-Express Cima Corgo was produced with a field blend of grapes from older vineyards (40 to 80 years of age) on schist soils, fermented destemmed in concrete for four days and was kept in concrete for eight months. This has a deeper color and nose, with more complexity and concentration. It is powerful but balanced, with some elegance and a seamless palate with ripe flavors without excess and some more noticeable tannins. They all have a stony, austere sensation, which is possibly stronger in this one. 8,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2023.
