Recensioni degli esperti

James Suckling:

A very attractive nose, showing dried flowers, red berries and an austere note of wet chalk complemented by herbs. Medium-bodied and linear with exceptional balance, this has precise, powdery tannins and a delicate expression. A blend of 90% merlot and 10% cabernet franc. Better from 2028.

Decanter:

Cherry and black berries on the nose and palate, full of energy but also power, mixing brightness of acidity with plush tannins and really ripe but cool fruit. So precise and finessed - this doesn’t miss a beat when it comes to drinkability and approachability. Fun and hands off yet structured and concentrated - really expressive and a joy to drink.

The Wine Advocate:

Elegantly toasty, with a subtle note of gentian, the 2023 Le Carillon d'Angélus opens in the glass after aeration to reveal aromas of dark wild berries, cassis and flowers. Medium- to full-bodied, it is enveloping and juicy, offering good depth at the core and framed by velvety tannins, concluding with a fresh, fruit-driven finish.
