"The 2016 Blanco is a blend of 90% Palomino and 10% Pedro Ximénez grapes from Balbaína, fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts and kept with the lees for three months. There are some gunpowder and subtle mineral aromas, typical Palomino aromas of white flowers, smoky and ashy, with power from a concentrated vintage influenced by the abundant Levante winds. The grapes ripened early and yields were low, especially compared with the average in the zone. 18,000 bottles were produced. It was bottled between December and May 2017."
