Proveniente dai vigneti storici della famiglia Rosso a Serralunga d’Alba, in particolare dal vigneto Cerretta, questo Barolo è l’espressione pura e fedele del Nebbiolo. Sprigiona intensi aromi di frutti rossi maturi, rose secche e note delicate speziate, mentre in bocca rivela una struttura decisa, tannini eleganti e un finale lungo. Un Barolo come deve essere.

Pale ruby with a dark, complex and vibrant nose of prunes, roses, violets, balsamic, licorice and restrained peach peel. On the palate this is concentrated, with a full body, firm yet ripe tannins and crisp acidity. Overall more powerful than elegant, but very refined in the finish. It could use a bit more depth, but with bottle aging it will increase in complexity.
The Giovanni Rosso 2020 Barolo Cerretta, with fruit from Serralunga d'Alba, is quite generous and ripe, owing to sunny vintage conditions. It opens to a dark ruby color and pretty concentration with perfumes that are fine and elegant; they recall lavender, wild berry, plum and rusty nail. The Cerretta vineyard delivers a lingering sense of sweetness, and that becomes a signature for this wine. These results are immediate and up front.
