The blend of the 2020 7 Fuentes El Lance was slightly higher in Listán compared with the 2019, as it was 85% Listán Negro, 10% Castellana Negra and 5% Vijariego Negro from the same five vineyards—Habanera, Florida, Pencones, Cruz Santa and Diego—fermented in plastic bins and concrete vats with 20% to 100% full clusters, depending on the variety, and matured in used 500-liter oak barrels and 2,500-liter oak foudres for 10 months. It has a medium body and ripeness with slightly lower alcohol, 12.2%. It feels more complete and nuanced than the 2019 I tasted next to it, despite being very young and recently bottled. It's subtle and there are more layers here. This always has more full clusters than the 7 Fuentes. 8,000 bottles were produced. It was bottled in December 2021.

Fantástico tinto con toda la originalidad que da la zona; notas de cenica, pimienta y mineralidad. La boca ligera, equilibrada y muy fresca.
