Añada de Baladiña 2012

This older wine is the same vintage that I tasted last year and the year before. The 2012 Añada de Baladiña is an amazing Albariño with an intense nose of tangerine peel and very supple flavors and a salty finish. Every time I taste this, the wine has changed and developed further nuance and complexity, and yet it's still fresh and lively. This was kept in stainless steel for 10 years and eight months! 2,650 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2023. (Luis Gutiérrez)

Golden yellow in the glass, this wine offers a bouquet of Anjou pear and dried thyme and sage. An unusual aged Albariño, it spent 10 years in tank on the lees, which led to a gorgeous texture and herbaceous touches mingling with flavors of pineapple, grapefruit and passionfruit. It is full and round on the palate and offers notes of citrus and flowers with a touch of smoke on the finish.
