Cedro do Noval è un rosso affascinante che riflette tutta la ricchezza del Douro. Il suo nome rende omaggio ai cedri che circondano i vigneti; questo blend unisce vitigni autoctoni a un tocco di Syrah, conferendogli una personalità unica. Con 12 mesi di affinamento in botti di rovere francese, il vino sprigiona aromi di frutti rossi maturi, spezie come il pepe nero e un fondo di vaniglia. Si distingue per il suo equilibrio tra vigore e morbidezza, offrendo una consistenza setosa e un finale persistente.

Blackberries, black plums, cocoa, cedar and hints of graphite on the nose of this creamy and savory red. It’s full-bodied with fine, supple tannins and a velvety texture. Drink now or hold.

The red 2021 Cedro do Noval was produced with 40% Touriga Nacional, 20% Syrah, 15% Touriga Francesa, 10% Tinta Roriz and the remaining 15% a field blend that is usually what's found in the old vineyards. The varieties fermented separately in stainless steel, and the wine matured in 225-liter French oak barrels, 10% of them new, for 12 months. It's ripe and juicy, with some notes of rockrose and dry herbs, clean and modern with 14.5% alcohol and a pH of 3.48. It's medium to full-bodied with fine tannins and good balance, finishing slightly bitter and with some oak flavors. 80,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in February 2023.
