El Surco è un vino di paese nato tra i vigneti di Méntrida, di proprietà della cantina A Pie de Tierra. Un rosso aromatico, pulito, molto fresco e piacevole dopo otto mesi in botte, pieno di note floreali. Senza dubbio, uno di quei tesori che mettono in risalto la meravigliosa Garnacha di questa denominazione.

El Surco is their entry-level red from different Garnacha vineyards in Méntrida, and the 2023 El Surco is even paler and more ethereal than the 2022. It had a similar vinification, with full clusters, long macerations and aging in well-seasoned barrels for eight months, and it also has similar parameters, with 14% alcohol and a pH of 3.4. But the feeling here is a lighter and fresher wine, with floral notes, and it is perfumed and elegant, with clean aromas and flavors and an approachable profile, refined beyond the price point. Bravo. 7,500 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2024.
The 2023 vintage of this wine features higher in this list but the 2022 is also highly drinkable! After a year in bottle, this Garnacha is very approachable with delicate red berries and wild floral aromas. While still offering great tension and energy, the palate has filled out with juicy ripe strawberry fruit and savoury thyme and rosemary. It is fruit-forward, offering a certain immediacy without losing any of its structure. Drink up now! 2024 - 2027

Buen vino. Muy claro y frutal.
Color sorpendentemente claro. No le encontré micha personalidad. Se deja beber sin más.
Es un clarete, si te esperas un tinto, sorprende. Muy frutal y fácil de beber. Un descubrimiento interesante.
Como un clarete, pero fresco es rico y muy gastronómico.
Muy abierto de color, podría pasar perfectamente por vino rosado. Nariz llena de fruta roja fresca, la boca es muy fresca, ligera, directa.
Sobrevalorado, para no pedir mas.
Vino fresco, sutil, con personalidad!! ., diferente a la garnacha a la que estoy acostumbrado!! Pero muy elegante y fresca!
