Il Coste Rubin Barbaresco DOCG di Fontanafredda è un vino elegante e tradizionale, di grande carattere. Elaborato con uve Nebbiolo provenienti dai vigneti di Treiso, Barbaresco e Neive, seduce con i suoi profumi di prugna matura, mirtillo e viola, arricchiti da sentori di liquirizia, cannella e tabacco. All'assaggio, si rivelano tannini ben strutturati, un frutto intenso e una bella avvolgenza. Perfetto in abbinamento a piatti di carni rosse e a formaggi di media e lunga stagionatura.

I like the nutty, dry spice on the nose with undertones of red berries that open up to lots of lovely wild-strawberry jam, enhanced by well-controlled acidity and velvety tannins that add density and finesse to the palate and length to the finish. Hard to resist now, but give it a while. It will only improve. Try from 2022.
