The Wine Advocate:

The 2019 Jesús Yllera, influenced by the vision of Jean-Claude Berrouet, who works with them at Vivaltus, looks for more elegance and freshness. It's a blend of 90.5% Tempranillo, 8.5% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Merlot that matured in barrel for 12 months. It has contained ripeness, 14.1% alcohol and a pH of 3.48. It combines more classical notes with herbal and balsamic notes from the Bordeaux varieties, giving it a twist of freshness. The palate is medium- to full-bodied with mostly resolved tannins. A total of 26,171 bottles and 1,914 magnums were produced. It was bottled in June 2021. (Luis Gutiérrez)

James Suckling:

Subtle sweet spices, mossy blackberries and a touch of chocolate. Firm, dusty tannins with supple, juicy fruit and a long finish. A restrained Ribera del Duero. Drink now or hold. (Zekun Shuai)

Decanter:

Classic style on the nose, with red berries and incense, hints of leafy freshness. Powerful fruit core supported by fresh acidity. (Medalla de plata en los Decanter World Wine Awards)
