Questo bianco è fatto con Alvarinho da un unico vigneto biologico di Melgaço, nella regione del Vinho Verde. È un vino che non segue le regole, è fuori dal comune e ti regala pura emozione in ogni calice. È il frutto dell'intuizione, fermentato e invecchiato per un anno in rovere austriaco, seguito da un altro anno in cemento. Il risultato è sublime, uno di quei vini che rimangono impressi nella memoria perché non proverai mai niente di simile.

The palate is sharp, saline, subtle and nuanced, but with concentration and tension. This spends 12 months in a large Austrian foudre with another 12 months in cement. It comes from a single vineyard of albarino in Melgaco at around 300 to 400 meters. Drink now or hold.
The pure Albariño 2021 Mixtura Green, identified by a green dash on the black label, was sourced from a certified-organic vineyard in Melgaço (Portugal) and is sold as wine from Europe (legally, this is its designation). It fermented with indigenous yeasts in a 2,450-liter Stockinger cask that was new in 2019 and, now that it is older, is marking the wine a lot less; the wine matured in that same cask with the lees for one year and was then transferred to concrete for one more year. It has varietal notes of white flowers, orange peel and freshly cut grass and is faintly smoky and spicy, with a super, precise, sharp and dry palate with the granularity of the granite. It's elegant, balanced and ripe without excess, with 13% alcohol. 3,248 bottles were filled in August 2023.
