Vadio Tinto è come Luís Patrão vede il vitigno Baga nella zona di Bairrada. È un vino rosso biologico che viene da vecchi vigneti su terreni sabbiosi e calcarei, fatto con un intervento minimo e fatto maturare in botti usate per mantenere la purezza e l'eleganza del terroir portoghese.

The Wine Advocate:

The pale, elegant and nuanced red 2021 Tinto showcases the elegant and balanced house style of sleek reds, with a creamy touch, contained ripeness and good balance. 2021 was a very good vintage, when the destemmed grapes were put in stainless steel to ferment with indigenous yeasts and the wine matured in French oak barrels for close to two years. It has notes of wild berries, herbs and flowers, a medium-bodied palate and abundant, chalky tannins. It comes in at a contained 12.5% alcohol, with a pH of 3.49 and 5.85 grams of acidity. It should develop nicely in bottle and finish integrating the oak with a little more time. 19,600 bottles and 200 magnums produced. It was bottled in March 2024.
