Mas Plantadeta Ranci Solera 35 Anys 50 cl

"It looks like the rancio wines for Priorat are making a small comeback. This NV Mas Plantadeta Vi Ranci Solera 35 Anys is from a solera started 35 years ago. Cloudy, amber/mahogany-colored, it has that nose of burnt caramel, iron, sea water, spices and crushed rocks with the characteristic bittersweet flavors lifted very long by 17% alcohol. Unfortunately I got very little information about the wine itself, but it looks like an old solera recently refreshed and still finding its balance. They bottled some 150 half-bottles".
