Michel Rolland and Javier Galarreta source the Tempranillo for this wine from Labastida and Elvillar, demonstrating a welcome intention to produce a wine with brighter, tangier flavours. Sensitively oaked, with black cherry and vanilla spice and a tang of acidity. Drink between 2019-24.

James Suckling:

Some bright dark berry and cherry fruits on offer with a dried rose edge. The palate has a smooth, sweet blackberry flavor and supple tannins.
