The Wine Advocate:
A new red old-vine cuvée, the 2017 Sant Pere Vinyes Velles was selected from three plots of Monastrell and one of Cariñena from over 60-year-old vines that delivered an 80/20 blend. It matured in concrete vats for almost one year before it was bottled. It has a good combination of Mediterranean power with elegance and freshness. It has depth and nice balance, fine tannins and a certain elegance. Quite impressive. 15,000 bottles were filled in June 2018.
