Aquiana 2019

I found the 2019 Aquiana to be quite serious and balanced, with a restrained nose and abundant tannins on the palate. It comes from their oldest vineyards and fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts, then matured in used French oak barrels for 12 months. It's a little tannic and will require some more time in bottle and/or powerful food. 5,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2021.
