Vigneti della tenuta situati in quota nella zona di Pallars Jussà, coltivati con metodi biologici, anche se non hanno una certificazione ufficiale.

Più freddo che nel Mediterraneo.

Vendemmia manuale in piccole cassette da 10 kg.
Vinificazione
Lavorato con il minimo intervento per cercare la purezza varietale. Ha 36 grammi di zucchero per litro e un'acidità totale di 8,3 grammi per litro.

If the Ekam resembles a kabinett, the 2021 Ekam Essència is reminiscent of a spätlese Riesling, with only 10.5% alcohol and 36 grams of sugar neatly balanced by 8.3 grams of acidity (and a pH of 2.79)—parameters of a German cool-climate white rather than a Mediterranean one from Spain. There is a faint touch of botrytis and kerosene here that is elegant and subtle, and the whole wine comes through as ethereal, transparent (even the color!) and crystalline, with purity and balance. It should develop nicely in bottle. I would love to have a time machine to see this wine in 10 years' time. As that's impossible, I'll ask Bobet to taste the 2010 again next time. 2,700 bottles were filled in July 2022. (Luis Gutiérrez)

Classic, Mosel Riesling in style; high toned, crisp and appley, with notes of petrol, white flowers and sharp lemon. Medium sweet on the palate, softening the acidity and creating tension that lasts into the finish 2024-2040.
