Il silenzio e la natura che regnano nella zona pirenaica del Pallars, terra d'origine di questo rosato, favoriscono il raccoglimento. È per questo motivo che Raül Bobet ha scelto per lui il nome di Jhana, un tipo di meditazione. Caratterizzato da sfumature fruttate e con un buon potenziale di invecchiamento, il suo concetto si avvicina a quello dei grandi bianchi da invecchiamento prodotti da uve rosse.

Vigneti situati nella zona dei Pirenei di Lleida.
Raccolto
Vendemmiatura manuale in piccole cassette da 10 chilogrammi.
Vinificazione
Macerazione a bassa temperatura e fermentazione in botti di rovere.
Invecchiamento
12 mesi di affinamento in botti di rovere, per lo più usate da due anni.
Imbottigliamento
Nell'agosto del 2021.

A very pale rosé, almost like a blanc de noirs, the 2020 Jhana has unusual herbal and peppery aromas for this style of wine, no doubt from the varieties used—Merlot and Petit Verdot! It was produced with the idea to have a rosé with aging potential in bottle, through which it should achieve more complexity. It has 12.8% alcohol, a pH of 3.1 and 6.5 grams of acidity and is bone dry in the finish. It matured for 12 months in oak barrels, mostly second-year ones, but the wood doesn't seem to play a role in the aromas or flavors here. It is a very unusual and characterful rosé, getting closer to the spirit of a white wine. 1,000 bottles were filled in August 2021. (Luis Gutiérrez)
