Fantastico vino rosso dell'Atlantico, premiato nelle annate precedenti dalla critica come uno dei vini più affascinanti della Galizia. Espressivo, aromatico, complesso e molto seducente. Fatto solo con uve Caíño tinto, una delle varietà autoctone del nord-ovest della Spagna, questo gioiellino può ancora migliorare per un decennio. Sensazionale.

Profumo
Elegante, profumato, ampio ed espressivo. Regala aromi di petali di rosa insieme a note erbacee e sentori di pepe.
Bocca
Armonioso, succoso e fresco. Ha dei tannini super raffinati e un finale davvero piacevole.
Temperatura di servizio
Si consiglia di servirlo a 16 °C.
Consumo
Buono fino al 2034 circa se tenuto in buone condizioni.

The Wine Advocate:

The nose of the 2022 Finca Genoveva Caíño is something else. This is paler and a lot more fragrant, floral, aromatic and elegant than any of the other Caíño bottlings (and I tasted it next to two others). It's a wine with an ethereal quality and fragile balance but full of energy and light. It's a symphony of dried flowers, herbs and spices, intoxicating and showy, with a fine-boned palate with pungent flavors and great purity, focus, definition and symmetry. It has to be one of the finest vintages for this superb red, one of the best in Galicia, if not the best. This also ages like heaven. It comes in at 12.6% alcohol and has 7.65 grams of acidity. 2,000 bottles were produced. It was bottled in November 2024 after a long élevage, 12 months in a neutral 1,500-liter foudre and a further 12 months in 500-liter barrels. ´Luis Gutiérrez. 

James Suckling:

This is nervy and absorbing, with aromas of pepper, tea, red fruit and a bright herbal note. Medium-bodied with silky tannins and a delicate, ethereal profile. Saline and beautiful. This comes from a single, nearly 200-year-old vineyard planted in Meano on poor granite soil. Partial whole clusters. Aged in a combination of neutral foudres and barriques.
