Quello che finora è il primo monovarietale Tempranillo di Remírez de Ganuza si chiama UV, che sta per Único Viñedo(Vigneto Unico). Viene da un unico appezzamento nel cru di La Rad, nella parte più alta di San Vicente de la Sonsierra,e questo gli dà un'acidità intensa e un'espressione diversa di quest'uva: più pura e trasparente. Profumato, delicato, elegante e "pericolosamente facile da bere", come dice la critica di Decanter, Ines Salpico.

UV, short for Único Viñedo, is a pure Tempranillo from the La Rad sub-zone, situated at 575 metres in the higher part of San Vicente de la Sonsierra. Alluringly perfumed, subtle and elegant, it has some good reduction, lots of Sonsierra acidity, sappy raspberry and pomegranate fruit and silky tannins. A total contrast with the wines the bodega used to make. 2027-35.
Remírez de Ganuza's only single varietal Tempranillo, first released in 2017, delivers another pure, transparent expression of the variety. Lifted by fragrant violets, crushed rose petals and wild strawberry, the flavours is moreish and juicy, with tomato compote, red cherry jam, pomegranate and cranberry. Lively and frank, this is dangerously drinkable, gliding through the palate and living a mouthwatering, zesty trail. (Ines Salpico)
