Vigna e preparazione

Descrizione
Un mosaico di vigneti in alberello prefilosserici situati a un’altitudine compresa tra i 900 e i 1.000 metri sul livello del mare in diversi paesi della provincia di Soria.

Sabbia, limo, argilla e calcare.
Clima
Il 2024 è stata un'annata piovosa che ha portato problemi di attacchi di peronospora, che però sono stati superati; la vendemmia è stata notevolmente inferiore rispetto a quella precedente, ma di qualità ancora migliore.
Raccolto
Vendemmia manuale.
Vinificazione
Pigiatura diretta delle uve, decantazione di 24 ore e fermentazione in depositi di acciaio inox a 20 °C.

Imbottigliamento
Nel giugno del 2025.

The unbottled rosé 2024 Roselito is a traditional blend of 30% Albillo and the rest Tinto Fino from old vines, produced by pressing the whole bunches and fermenting the juice in stainless steel, and thew wine was kept with the lees until bottling. It's a powerful rosé with14.05% alcohol, a pH of 3.6 and 5.9 grams of acidity. 2024 was a rainy year, when they selected gapes from around 300 plots. The wine is a lot more delicate than what the data might suggest. It's very primary, floral and clean, with a tender palate and a sapid finish. The percentage of white is fixed, and the amount of wine they can produce is limited by the quantity of white grapes they have; the April frost decimated the yields, so they produced a lot less this year. They expect to produce around 21,000 bottles. They expect to fill the bottles in early June 2025. - Luis Gutiérrez. 

James Suckling:

A bone-dry wine with a very clear identity as a clarete. Aromas of of cherry pits, grapefruit and some dried herbs. Not a fruity wine, rather stony and gastronomic, with good acidity, tension and weight. Medium- to full-bodied with a subtle bite. 70% tempranillo and 30% albillo mayor. Drinkable now, but can hold.

Roselito is one of two rosados under the Bodegas Antídoto label, made by David Hernando and Bertrand Sourdais. Combining Tempranillo and 30% Albillo Mayor, sourced from six different Soria villages, it's bright, perfumed, refreshing and intense, with redcurrant and watermelon flavours and high-altitude acidity. 2025-27
