Descrizione

Il nome di questo vino bianco rende omaggio alle rive dei due fiumi che circondano i vigneti: il Bibei e lo Xares. In una zona super bella nasce il Godello , con cui si fa questo vino che è allo stesso tempo fresco e complesso. Al naso si sentono note di frutta, fiori e minerali, mentre al palato è persistente e cremoso.

Si fa notare per la sua mineralità e persistenza. È persistente e cremoso, con un finale salino.

Zuppe, pesce, frutti di mare e risotti marinari. Anche con cibo asiatico.

Vigneto a 500 metri sul livello del mare. Esposto a sud, sud-est e ovest.

35 anni.
Suolo
Diverse composizioni, con particolare rilievo di ardesia, gneiss e xabre.
Raccolto
Vendemmiare a mano in cassette da 15 chili tra l'8 e l'11 settembre.
Vinificazione
L'uva viene pressata lo stesso giorno della vendemmia. Macerazione a freddo per 24-48 ore, poi pressatura e decantazione statica naturale. Fermentazione con lieviti spontanei e a temperatura controllata in botti e barrique di rovere francese.
Invecchiamento
Affinamento su fecce fini per 12 mesi in modo statico.

From two vineyards in Chandoiro y Larouco, among the highest in the region that are grown on slopes above the rivers Bibei and Xares, this is fermented in stainless steel but finished in 2,000L foudres where it ages for 12 months. The wine has a subtle smokey note from a delicate use of oak that gently supports the wine. Soils are a mix of slate, clay and granite which result in a complex palate that is at once profound and marked by stony energy. It is a complete wine, mouthfilling but driven with direct acidity, and it promises more to come with time in bottle. 2025-29

The 2023 As 2 Ladeiras shows the cooler year after the torrid 2022, with contained ripeness and 12.5% alcohol. It's a selection from grapes from the banks of the Bibei and Xares Rivers (hence the name, the "two river banks" in the Galician language) on slate and gneiss soils, going back to the character of 2021, subtle and harmonious, vibrant and light, with elegance and superb balance. It's young but already shows complexity and nuance and the completeness of the vintage. 7,530 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2025 after 11 months in oak foudre and six months in stainless steel.
