Grandes Lindes de Remelluri è un progetto dove il vigneto è il protagonista. Questo fantastico vino rosso è un mix di varietà classiche della Rioja come Tempranillo, Garnacha e Graciano, che vengono da vecchi vigneti (Las Torcas) nel comune di Labastida, uno dei posti dove nascono alcuni dei migliori vini rossi della zona. Avvolgente, minerale ed elegante, è un vino perfetto da abbinare a salumi, formaggi e tutti i tipi di carne rossa.

This opens with a wealth of red and dark berries, coffee and a touch of underbrush. Structured, firm and intense tannins are finely crafted on the palate. Very persistent. Already drinking well but will benefit from a couple years of cellaring. Drink or hold.

The 2020 Grandes Lindes de Remelluri Las Torcas Labastida comes from a steep slope planted with a field blend of Tempranillo, Garnacha, Graciano and others at 440 to 710 meters in altitude, selected from four small plots from different growers, so it doesn't have the name of one grower like the others. But like the others, it fermented in oak vats with indigenous yeasts and matured in barrels and foudres of different sizes for 12 months. It has a mixture of red and black fruit and is a little exotic with a note of cola nut and nutmeg. It has 14% alcohol, a pH of 3.75 and 4.05 grams of acidity, coming through as tender and juicy, with a vibrant palate, quite lively, and elegant, fine tannins. 3,152 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2022.

Las Torcas uses grapes from a number of growers who have vines in the Labastida sub-zone of the same name, with altitudes varying from 440 to 710 metres. Perfumed and enticing, with plenty of chalky zip and freshness, this is an assemblage of Garnacha, Tempranillo, Graciano and white grapes with negligible oak, floral top notes and racy raspberry and red cherry fruit. 2026-32
