The 2005 Prado Enea Gran Reserva spends 36-months in oak, nine months in new oak after which it is racked into American oak that is “semi-new” (i.e. a new barrel that is “broken in” with a wine beforehand). It has an unashamedly opulent bouquet of primal, ripe, boysenberry, mulberry, dark chocolate and crushed violets that blossom with aeration. The palate is full-bodied with crisp acidity cutting through the pure blackberry and cassis fruit. It has wonderful focus and intensity, though the finish demonstrates convincing composure. This is an outstanding Gran Reserva whose silky texture will instantly win you over. Drink 2013-2030+.
Big and rich style with so much ripe fruit and toasted oak. Meat. Punchy. Drink or hold, but a long life ahead.
Desde antiguo la familia Muga ha tenido vinculación con la viticultura. Ya en 1870, Antonio y Baltasar Muga recibieron un premio a la calidad de sus vinos del entonces Ministerio de Fomento.

Excelente vino, muy elegante, con un tanino suave, y muy bien integrado minerales y fruta. Aromático, y paladar aterciopelado.
Gran vino el Prado Enea en esta añada 2014, como no podía ser de otra forma con los vinos que llegan de la mano de esta bodega.
Muy bueno, clásico entre los clásicos, para mi gusto aún puede mejorar, un par de añitos más y obtendrá la perfección total
