Resalte Expresión 2018

The old-vine cuvée 2018 Expresión has a little more ripeness and 14.3% alcohol, along with generous oak after 14 months in mostly French oak barrels. The wine was kept in concrete for some time before it was bottled. It feels quite predictable, with ripe berry fruit, generous spice and smoke and a palate with abundant, slightly dusty tannins. It should benefit from some more time in bottle. 9,000 bottles and 100 magnums produced. It was bottled in July 2020.
